Motorway corridors

Sited where the freight actually moves.

Every Shelf Route hub is chosen for its motorway access, workforce depth and proximity to a deep-sea port. It's not glamorous — but it's why our next-day service reliably arrives the next day.

M25 & Thames Gateway

Our Dagenham hub sits inside the M25, minutes from Tilbury and London Gateway ports. It's where most inbound sea freight lands and where next-day dispatch to Greater London begins each morning.

M6 spine

Birmingham and Manchester bracket the M6, giving Shelf Route rapid reach into the Midlands, North West, and — via the M62 — Yorkshire. Between them they move more than half of our national pallet volume.

M5 south-west

Avonmouth handles the South West, South Wales and inbound container traffic through Bristol Port. It's our smallest hub and often our most flexible for surge capacity.

M1 / A1(M) corridor

Wakefield Europort is rail-linked and sits on the doorstep of the M1, M62 and A1(M). Ideal for northern retail replenishment and Scottish trunking.
